Nicknamed after it’s designer Mike “Whiskers” Allen, the Magic BR-1.7 certainly doesn’t let the cat out of the bag when it comes to the release mechanism. Hidden underneath the textured bolster at the top of the knife that releases the blade with a quick slide to the side.

This “Whiskers” BR-1.51 has a Chad Nicols Damascus blade and black anodized 6061-T6 aluminum handle, with an Ivory Micarta inlay, and a patterned bolster release.
