The Investigator Pen from Rick Hinderer Knives is the smallest pen they offer, but is one of the toughest pens on the market. Like their other two pens, the Extreme Duty and Modular Pen, the Investigator is made for hard use. The pen comes standard with a Fisher Space Pen refill, which is pressurized meaning that:

• Evaporation, wasted ink and back leakage are eliminated. 
• The estimated shelf-life of these pens is over 100 years.

In addition, the deep cut threads that hold the cap on either end of the body ensures the toughest of connections. This Hinderer Investigator Pen is made of 6061-T6 aluminum and has a matte purple finish. Each piece will be slightly different as the process used to create the finish creates a unique pattern on each pen.
